The geko™ device reduces blood sludging in the popliteal vein

A recent study has measured the effect of the geko™ device on erythrocyte aggregation (blood sludging). The results of the study has shown that the geko™ device significantly reduces venous blood sludging in the popliteal vein irrespective of the subjects position or the orientation of the ultrasound probe1.
